Remembering

The Snow Princess and her husband lost a very close friend last week. Damon was 30 and died of complications due to his diabetes. His death was sudden, and a lot of people were caught off guard. He was a sports fanatic had been a team manager for KU while he was in school, worked in the local sports industry and was a regular figure at anything local sports talk radio did in the city. He even visited their studios from time to time. So when the radio station learned that Damon had died, they did a little tribute for him on the radio. Michael saved it as an MP3 and emailed it to a bunch of us who had known Damon.

It was really touching, the DJ got choked up, I even got a little misty-eyed Damon will be missed. He had a great spirit and brought a smile to the faces of most everyone he met. So I listened to the MP3 here at work. When I opened the file, it defaulted to iTunes. As the DJ signed off, iTunes shuffled to the next song
